Knozone Action Days are days when air quality conditions are poor and represent a risk to human health. The worse the air quality, the greater the threat. Idling from buses and vehicles on these days create an even greater threat to student health. Even if your school does not have a “no idle” policy in place, it should advice drivers to avoid idling during student pick-up on these days.
