CSOs and the Great Lakes

Thanks to a $1500 grant from the Great Lakes Aquatic Habitat Fund, IKE will work with CSO communities in Indiana’s Great Lakes Basin.  IKE will work to get the municipalities to notify residents downstream of CSOs whenever an overflow occurs. As part of this process, IKE will evaluate the environmental justice and civil rights issues for combined sewer systems in the basin.
