As part of its Indy Urban Pesticides Initiative, IKE will hold a workshop on Saturday, November 17 from 9:00 to 1:00 in the Ashantii Ballroom for neighborhood leaders and concerned citizens interested in preventing the misuse of pesticides and promoting integrated pest management. Participants will:

• Learn from nationally-recognized experts how to identify the misuse of pesticides and how to reduce exposure to both pests and pesticides;
• Gain insight into how to translate this information into action in their neighborhood; and
• Influence the development of sound pest management policy and practices in Central Indiana.
