Mark your calendar for Thursday, May 11. The Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Programs at Indiana State Department of Health and the Marion County Health Department are hosting a “Community Partners Against Lead Poisoning” conference for lead advocates, community leaders, and health specialists in Indianapolis that day.

Margaret Sausser will be the luncheon speaker. Ms. Sausser will share her traumatic experiences with lead poisoning and the damage it can do. She is an outstanding speaker!

MCHD and ISDH have graciously allowed IKE’s Lead Poisoning Prevention Task Force to moderate a 60-minute panel discussion and question and answer session at the end of the day.
