About the Indiana Lead-Safe Task Force Formed in 1999, the Lead-Safe Indiana Task Force is a coalition of lead poisoning prevention advocates from across Indiana. The Task Force meets quarterly in Indianapolis to discuss the latest issues facing Indiana and Task Force initiatives. Health departments, state agencies, property managers, citizen activists, housing agencies, neighborhood development corporations, licensed risk assessors and other advocates regularly attend the meetings. The meetings provide an excellent networking opportunity as well as good camaraderie. Everyone is welcome to attend! If you cannot make the meetings, you may still want to get regular e-mail updates from Tom Neltner. Contact him at mccabe@ikecoalition.org. The Task Force is supported by Improving Kids' Environment. IKE is a non-profit, advocacy coalition that facilitates tangible and significant improvements to children’s health through reductions in environmental threats to children.
