Jan. 27 IKE Advisory Council
About 25 people participated in the tour and meeting at DowAgroSciences. Special thanks to Paula Flores-Gregg of EPA Region 6 who flew in from Dallas for the meeting and to EPA Region 5’s Donald Baumgartner and Maryanne Suero from Chicago who braved a snowstorm on the northern plains of Indiana and Illinois to attend. Also thanks to Jake Secor, Deb Wilcox and Tim Maniscalo of DowAgroSciences for hosting the events.
E-Hazards: They’re Out There.
Take X-files and throw in a dose of Carmen San Diego and you get a new children’s environmental health video published by U.S.EPA Region 6. Paula Flores-Gregg brought copies to the Advisory Council meeting to present and share. Two investigators, Lana and Wolf, find environmental hazards throughout the home and neighborhood. The target audience is elementary students from 2nd to 4th grade. It is quite effective. Call Paula at 214-665-8123 for a copy of the video.
