What’s Up at IKE?

By Tom Neltner, IKE’s President

When I have gone birding, someone invariably spots a fascinating bird just as it flies from the tree. All I see is a blur — often a colorful blur! Rarely, does the bird hold still long enough for me to really get a good look.

Writing this newsletter is much the same for me. The projects and issues that IKE is working on often move so quickly that they are difficult to capture in a timely manner to capture in a newsletter. I often rewrite the article at the last minute to deal with late-breaking news.

In addition, each quarter, there is more to report. To avoid losing important information, this newsletter expanded from 4 to 8 pages in December and now it is 12 pages. The other option is to go with 8 point font, and my eyes aren’t strong enough to handle that!
