Wild Oats, a leader in the natural and organic
food industry, has selected IKE as one of its
Wooden Nickel organizations for a six month
period, from January 10 to July 10, 2006! Wild
Oats is concerned about the health of the
children in our community and realizes that the
actions we take impact the people and the world
that surround us. They have created a unique
way of supporting local nonprofits while
encouraging their customers and employees to
recycle.
For each bag you bring to the Wild Oats store at
1300 E. 86th St. (between College and Keystone),
whether it’s canvas, plastic, cardboard or
paper, they will give you a Wooden Nickel;
deposit this in the Wooden Nickel Bank marked
for IKE as you exit the store.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday 8 a.m.
to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Help
the environment by recycling and help IKE at the
same time... Spread the word!
