2012 Summit: Local and Urban Foods Breaking Barriers and Protecting Health

More than 100 people gathered on May 4, 2012, for the fourth Indiana Environmental Health Summit on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.

The summit was designed to bring together academics, regulators, non-profit organizations, public health professi
onals, businesses and advocates to discuss common issues that impact health.The summit is a collaborative effort of the IU School of Medicine’s Department of Public Health, the Center for Urban Health at IUPUI, and Improving Kids' Environment.
