Nsedu Obot Witherspoon, Executive Director, Children's Environ mental Health Network
In her role as executive director of CEHN, Ms. Witherspoon has served as the “Voice for Children’s Environmental Health” in the nation’s capital for the past 10 years. She is a key spokesperson for children’s vulnerabilities and the need for their protection. Ms. Witherspoon is a contributing author to Mike Wallace’s 2008 book titled Where We Will Be 50 Years From Today: 60 Of The World’s Greatest Minds Share Their Visions On The Next Half-Century and co-author on the publication titled: “Incorporating environmental health into pediatric medical and nursing education.” Environmental Health Perspectives 112: 1755-60 (2004).
Sara Snow, Green Living Expert and Television Host
A former reporter for FOX 59 in Indianapolis, Sara helped put the first TV series about natural living on the air in 2005 when “Living Fresh” debuted nationally. It was followed later by “Get Fresh with Sara Snow” on Discovery Health. She is the author of Sara Snow's Fresh Living; The Essential Room-by-Room Guide to a Greener, Healthier Family and Home. While Sara continues development work on her next series, she has stepped into her biggest role yet, that of mom to her daughter Silvia. Meanwhile she continues to teach and inspire countless individuals about simple and effective ways to green businesses, homes, families and communities.
